Need to replace 24 volt transformer, on the second...

Need to replace 24 volt transformer, on the secondary side of old trans it is not marked Load or common. has 1 wire to a safety on one terminal and 3 wires to control boards and gas valve on other terminal. Which one is the 24vdc output and which one is common? New trans is marked just don't know where to hook wires from old trans to new?
