I have a Arlington gas stove with remote On/Off......

I have a Arlington gas stove with remote On/Off...It worked for two years but now is not ...I have installed new batteries in the remote and the receiver . Fireplace works fine when turned on manually ...what do I do to get remote working ? Phil spencer.phil41@gmail.com
