I just had a 1400 installed. I was wondering about the draft. When the fire is going well and I totally close the draft .. should that smother the fire very quickly or does it jsut reduce the air to the fire and not totally cut it off. I was wondering as it does not totally smother the fire quickly as my old wood stove used too. Is this the norm for this wood stove? Thanks jody
