every time its turned on get really bad burning smell.gets very hot very quicklydoesn,t pick up very well

0 I too get a burning smell when my 73333 hoover is turned on. It has now started melting the belts and surrounding plastic, resulting in a new belt every 2 weeks - phoned help line but it is older than 2 years, so they won't help me. - I'm off to buy a different make and model, not morphy richards though!!!
