my needle will not go up and down. I do not have the bobbin threader engaged and no thread is knotted or around bobbin. The needle arm will not go up and down even with trying to hand turn the knob. Sorry, every inexperienced sewer so not sure if used the right terms, but I have power but needle will not move. I have the montgomery wards sewing machine UHT J 1954.
