Question About Monessen Hearth Indoor Fireplace HVFL18
Pilot light (stays on?)...

Does the pilot light stay on all the time (even in summer)? It seems to be a waste of gas and produces heat when we're trying to air condition. (For HVFL24 unvented logs)
