Our propane monessen insert has a horrible smell, not propane, but a musky smell. I have cleaned it from top to bottom, removed the logs and the flames seem to be burning appropriately. We have lived here for 8 years and have been unable to use it. Could it be the fire brick inserts? When i scrubbed them they had the same smell?
