This spring we bought a home that has gas logs. We were able to turn them on when it was cool in the spring, but can't remember how to start now. Directions and diagrams (drawings) on the metal plates don't match our device's appearance. We are able to turn the pilot on --- by match although it is supposed to be automatic --- but it goes right off when we do the other dials as directed. Thanks for any help.
