0 There should be several metal plates attached with a chain to the back of the grating. These are safety, model number, etc. information plates. One of these plates show exactly how the logs are to be placed. You may very well find these plates underneath the grating assembly if you pick it up, or they may just be lying behind everything. That's where I found mine. They should always remain with the fire logs and grating. Good luck!
