Question About Majestic Appliances Indoor Fireplace 36LDVR
1st time lighting...

fireplace never turned on .. I was told by a friend to turn main gas line on and the to hold pilot button in for a minute or two because it takes longer the first time to get gas to the igniter .. then after pilot is lit , turn button to on position and then turn wall switch on ..Is this correct ??? Thank you
