I have a Magic Chef "slide in" gas range/oven, Model No. 6498VTA. My problem is that the oven doesn't get up to the proper temp. I replaced the touchpad on the front, because I was getting the dreaded "F1" error/beeping. I also replaced the oven temp sensor inside the oven. When you select the desired oven bake temp, the oven seems to kick on, but the "countup" temp *starts* at 240 degrees and ramps up very quickly to 350, but the thermometer in the oven doesn't come close to 350. What could be wrong?
