magic chef gas stove burner flame is only about 1/...

magic chef gas stove burner flame is only about 1/2"lung (it should be aprox 1" also brings-up temperature very slow! The pilot was changed the amp reading is OK, burner clean and orfise too, only one could be is the acual safetygas valve. Q- what causes low flame? Thanks in advancea Pepi
