Question About Magic Chef Furnace None
Furnace won't ignite...

The electronic igniter doesn't seem to be working - the fan runs but there is no heat/flame and just some clicking of the igniter. Any thoughts or manuals? Thanks, Peter

0 Had the same problem. Check the flame sensor. FIRST TURN OFF THE POWER TO THE FURNACE. From the furnace ingition control module find the terminal labled "sense" or simular then follow this lead to the flame sensor. The sensor is located at the ignitor. Remove the sensor (usually pulling out of the mounting bracket). Using a piece of very fine grid sand paper clean the residue from the metal part of the sensor. I used 400 grid. If this doesn't work then it's not the flame sensor.
