We just moved into a home with a LUX TX500E thermostat. We are trying to get the air conditioner to work properly but don't seem to be doing something right because we the house won't get any cooler than 81 and I have it set at 60. What am I doing wrong? Thank you

0 I am having the same problem. I just moved into this house with the same thermostat and they even replaced my air condition unit but yet I'm still not able to get to the setting I set it for. I set it for 73 and it wont pass 82.
