In my dining room I have a Lux EnergyStar thermostat. I recently removed the face of the thermostat to paint the wall. Upon replacing the hardware, heat has been pouring into the room. I have checked the settings. I have programmed ALL to be at 45*. Currently it is at 85*. The word 'heat' is displayed vertically on the upper right hand corner of the display. I cannot get the word 'heat' to change. I also have replaced the batteries and pushed the reset button several times to no avail.
