Question About Lopi Stove Top Loading Cast Iron Wood Stove

I need a manual for my stove serial #1110-002316. My stove has a lever on the left side to close the damper I was told I could continue burning with the damper close there are vents inside the firebox. Is this correct? I cannot locate my manual.

5 Just go to Lopi's website, the manual is on there. I have the same stove, it's awesome.
