SUMMER FAN...

I CAN'T SEEM TO GET IT TO TURN ON. I'VE CHANGED THE BATTERIES IN MY THERMASTAT,LIKE MY TECH SAID.HE SAID TO HOLD BUTTON DOWN BY BOARD I GET FLASHING GEEN LIGHTS BUT NO FAN TURNING ON. I DO NOT HAVE A A/C CONNECTED TO IT.PLEASE HELP.THKS BERNY
