Newly installed Honeywell S8610U Continuous Retry gives error 6 + 2 (3rd failure to light on same call for heat - new trial for ignition after 5 minute delay) and no heat. Installer had me bi-pass the delayed start feature by pulling white wire and replacing with short black wire. Do I still have to get something repaired or is this OK to operate in this mode?
