my lasko 5000L heat sensor does not activate (green light does not illuminate) and therefore does open the solenoid and allow water flow to the filter. The unit has worked successfully for the most part for a few years. Occasionally with has happened in the past but eventually begins to work again. This time it appears to be a permanent issue.
