I have a lovely 20" Lakewood Kool Operator fan that has stopped working. I suspect a start-up capacitor. What size cap does this motor require, and do you stock the parts? My Kool Operator has dark unconnected blades.

0 No capacitor. It is a shaded pole motor, low torque. Mine stopped working several times. Take it apart and oil it at the two oil ports on the motor. I was able to do this about six times. Now, it seems to be seized up pretty good. But, I've been oiling it for at least 5 years. So you may get a little more out of it yet.
