trying to use carpet shampoo system & can not seem to get belt to attatch to spindle to rotate brush,HELP

5 1. Turn the front handle until the red marks match 2. Remove the head from the machine 3. Turn the front handle until the green marks match 4. Locate the 2 unlocking handles for the brush and unlock the brush 5. Remove the protective metal cover 6. Pull out the brush 7. put the belt 8. To assemble - repeat this process backwards

0 I bought a used kirby vacuum cleaner and shampooer. But the guy didn't have the instructions on how to use the shampooer. I can't seem to find it on line . Thank you Ann Montgomery moppof5@yahoo.com.
