plugged in and the bracker blew, cord fine,wont restart-is there a reset button and where,or what?

0 the motor brushes are fried.. it is a 15 dollar part at the kirby store and they need to just polish the armature..(which is added into a regular service which is no more than $40) so you are looking at 50-60 dollars to fix it, but don't let them up sale ya or tell ya that it is junk... as soon as that is done it will run great again
