My Kidde AC Hardwired Interconnect Smoke Alarm with Hushâ„¢ i12040 started chirping so I changed the 9V battery but it is still chirping. I tried another new battery and its still chirping? I think it is even chirping at times when its not even plugged in. This smoke alarm is fairly new as is the house (3 years old).
