I have the above smoke alarm, it was installed in my home when new, in 1998. We are now having problem with the 'alarm' going off, when i use my oven at temp above 425 degrees. There is no way to 'turn the alarm off' other than disconnect it entirely from the inhouse wiring. Is there something wrong with it? or...Is there a way to 'stop' the alarm when we 'know' there is no fire in the home!
