my detector is chirping and i dont know how to change the battery or where it goes

1 If your Kidde alarm is chirping and saying "low battery", and it doesn't look like there is a battery when you take the cover off, the battery is probably behind the alarm. To find it, grab the entire alarm and rotate it, then pull it down. The battery is probably on the other side. Who knew?!
