Question About Kidde Smoke Alarm None

In my house there are approx 8 detectors that are installed and are interconnected, with battery backup. I have changed the battery, but the problem continues. QUESTIONS: 1) Is there a product recall on this model (1275)? 2) If not, what is the fix? 3) If recalled, Can I return to the Home Depot for exchange?
