Brand new kidde i12060A smoke detector with brand ...

Brand new kidde i12060A smoke detector with brand new battery chirps every 30 seconds or so for no reason. We have used test/reset and done hard reset. It will be quiet for 12 hours or so, and then resumes chirping.
