I have a model # KN-DCEG-3 carbon monoxide alarm. It began beeping. I replaced the battery and reset. But it still continues beeping. Are special batteries needed. I just used the regular 9V batteries like I use in my smoke detectors. I had to disengage the battery to retain my sanity.
