tank is filling up with water and not going down.

5 It is not drawing brine into the resin tank. You should clean venturi. If that doesn't work, pull line to brine valve off venturi during brining cycle (you can advance to that cycle by pressing the recharge now button). If water is flowing out of the venturi, then the rotor or seals below the rotor are bad. Brine should be drawn into the venturi. If no suction, then something is still wrong with venturi. Venturi kit costs $30 + tax. Rotor is $45. Seals are $35.

1 The softener filled up with water and has not gone down. It is no longer softening the water. We had our water checked and it was at 35 hardness.
