Just bought a replacement filter for my Kenmore 116.35622401 vac--this is the filter that is at the bottom of the bag compartment, made of a spongy material. The new filter has a cloth backing on one side, which the old one doesn't have. I don't know which side of the filter goes toward the bag and which toward the motor. And I don't have the manual for this vacuum. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
