I just bought new filter for my Kenmore Progressive Upright Vacuum Cleaner (Model 116.36932502) and I don't know if I put it in incorrectly or what the problem may be, but now after a minute of vacuuming, where the top opening of the canister meets the actual machine (a round grid/filter thing?) it gets clogged and I have to clear it off so air can get through...do you have any idea what the problem is?
