I have a Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive Vacuum and it is no longer producing suction. I've cleared all possible blockages and it seems that the problem may be between the motor and the connection that drives the suction. I get a smell when the motor is running so I'm guessing the problem may be related to the motor and the direct connect. Any suggestions how to remedy?
