Question About Kenmore Stove 790 5100
need help putting in correct size gas outlets...

we purchased a kenmore elite gas stove and need help with putting the correct size gas screw in outlets for Propane not gas, when I put the small valves in it burnes very low and doesnt get hot enough, when I put the larger ones in it smells like gas and burns with a yellow flame on high and medium.
