My Sears Kenmore model 5186 sewing machine says "Made in Japan". (Bought it at an estate sale - no manual with it either, so I'm on the hunt, too) Is it possible to see if there's something in Japanese or if a similar one would be still in circulation in Japan??? Just a thought. I'm going to investigate and if I find out anything I'll share it and vice versa... Arigato.
