We live in northern Alberta Canada and the outside temperatures have been in the -25 or colder for weeks. My freezer is in an uninsulated, unheated garage. I discovered tonight that some items in my freezer were thawing. Just wondering what to do? Is the freezer garbage (built Jan 1997) or is this a problem because of the cold. We had it in a basement previously.
