Question About Kenmore Air Cleaner None
Kenmore 85244 Air Air Cleaner...

I'VE CLEANED BOTH FILTERS TWICE AND THELIGHTS CONTINUE TO BLINK THAT THEY ARE FULL AND BOTH FILTERS NEED CLEANING. OBVIOUSLY IT'S NOT CLEANING THE AIR, BUT HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO CLEAN THE FILTERS? HOW DO I CORRECT THIS PROBLEM?

5 Hold each button down until it switches from 'replace' back to 'New'...usually 5-7 seconds. The light feature doesn't have anything to do with units cleaning ability, just a warning to get you to change the filters. Because you did this, the unit is working as normal since you've changed the filters- Hope this helps-

0 By the way , these filters cannot be cleaned. They must be replaced as follows: Carbon = every 90 days Large Hepa= Every 12 Months These are replacement recommendations based on normal usage. Your application may require more frequent replacement if really dusty, dirty conditions exist.
