0 auto recovery has to do with the system determining how long it will take to reaqch the comfort zone for the programmed time you have selected. what this means is, if you programmed your system to be at 85 degrees until 3pm and at 3pm it is set to go back down to 75 before you get home at 5pm, it will actually try to get it cooled off before that tme for you unless you disable it according to the manual settings, which is disabled with a switch neaqr the wires
