i have a hunter 42999b and it doesnt keep to temp ...

i have a hunter 42999b and it doesnt keep to temp i have set how do i fix this cause i have to keep turning the thing off and on for the furnice to kick on and it gets rediculously cold like 60 and its set on 95 but it wont go past 74 but its not even 74 its 70 with a mercury thermometer
