Question About Hunter Fan Thermostat 44422
"E" in display...

I removed the face to paint the room. When I put it back, I could go through the startup routine, but after a few seconds the normal display would disappear and and "E" would appear. The unit would "tweet" occasionally for a couple of minutes.
