What does the little pump symbol in between the moon and the water mean if it's lit up? My machine keeps making strange mechanical noises when I turn on the air con, thanx.

0 The water chamber is full and needs emptying. There should be a small valve on the right side (when u face it) of the unit. un plug small rubber cark and collect the water in the supplied pan. This pan is too small and you may end up sitting there for 3-4 minutes emptying out all the water.
