Question About Hoover Vacuum Cleaner None
replacement HEPA filter...

I have had this vacuum for a year and cannot find a replacement HEPA filter. Hoover doesn't support it's products. They even told me to go to a list of retailers and no one has it or can get it. Why do they sell products that arent supported with replacement parts.

5 The Hoover U5198-900 is the Hoover Mach 6 bagless cyclonic upright vacuum which is very similar and uses the same parts as the Hoover U5194-900 Mach 5 bagless cyclonic upright. The Hoover Mach 6 is discontinued and was sold primarily through Sams Club and the Mach 5 is sold primarily through Wal-Mart. Both are excellent cleaning machines. The part you are looking for is HEPA final filter 93002360. Unfortunately this part will only be available through your local vacuum repair shop. It is not a common enough part that retailers like Walmart, Target or Sears would stock. I havc attached the manual below. Also call Hoover and they may be able to send the part to you as well- talk to a human not electronic service. Also please keep in mind that this is an UPRIGHT vacuum and NOT a canister vacuum.
