Question About Hoover Vacuum Cleaner None
New Power Cord...

I bought a replacement power cable. The new cable has 1 black (stripped end) and 1 white (when connecter). The old cable has 1 white (connected to a wire that goes down into the vacuum) and 1 purple (connected directly to the power switch. I'm not sure which wire to connect where with the new power cord.
