I can't open the bottom of machine to repalce belt. Do you have a copy of the manual?

0 No manual, but it's pretty easy. You need to remove both the top and bottom covers of the head. Position the unit so you can reach the underside of the head. Insert a flat blade screwdriver in the two slots and twist to release the agitator cover, which will pivot away from the front edge. To remove the top cover, pull the knob from the carpet height selector, then, from the underside of the head, insert your screwdriver into the recesses on the sides of the top cover and pry the cover away from the body to release the clips. There are two clips along each side. Note that the belt is listed on the serial plate as 43185-027. This part has been superceded by 43185-040.

0 I made an error in the belt number. The old number is 38528-027. The new number is 38528-040.
