Question About Hoover Carpet Cleaner Deluxe

my cleaner runs but there is no suction. cuold the belt have come off, if so how do i put it back on or replace

1 The same thing happened to me. Replace the yellow ball that is in the used water resevoir.

1 After years of use the clear plastic sleeve in the front has debris caught in it causing a narrow entrance for the water. Although I tried to clean by putting water on the floor and sucking it up with the cleaner it still is clogged. I know you are not supposed to take it apart. Any suggestions?

0 solution to my problem was: in front of tank there is a moveable part of the tank that is over water enterance canal. it was tilled forward, no making proper fit. Tilted back in postion, solved problem. Thanks for everyone input
