Question About Hoover Carpet Cleaner None
rotating brushes...

The rotating brushes sometimes work and somtimes it does not. How do I disassemble this to find out what is wrong?? Though when it does not work the brushes can not be turned freely by hand.

0 I have the same problem. I dis-assembled the unit. Looks like the brushes get engaged via a vacuum system. You have to make sure the screen is cleaned or it will not get a good vacuum going. Really need the service manual to properly troubleshoot. Any idea where to get the SERVICE manual, not the owners manual.
