I have a Berber carpet and used my Hoover on it for the first time. I also used a rug doctor from the market that day. The rug doctor had tremendous suction, but my Hoover seemed to saturate the carpet, but would not do a good recovery. It left a yellow stain on the path I used it on. I have used it many times before and never had this problem. It is possibly the carpet type.
