WATER HEATER MANUAL...

I CANT FIND MY WATER HEATER MANUAL AND IT IS NOT WORKING. THE RED LIGHT FLASHING CODE INDICATES DUE TO HIGH TEMPERATURE TURNOFF. DO I NEED TO RESET? IF SO, WHERE IS THE RESET SWITCH?
