Question About Honeywell Thermostat rth221
wiring...

Have 3 wires coming from ac unit(y,g,bL). BL seems like the power wire. Was wired to red on old thermostat. Thermostat won't work with y to y, g to g, BL to red. Any suggestions..ac only
