Question About Honeywell Thermostat T8411R 1028

does this thermostat have batteries in it, the numbers on my thermostat will go blank, then the air cond won't kick on for while, then suddenly kicks on, i don't see a place for a battery but everyone i've talked to says the batteries are probaly bad and i should replace them, but where if there is a place

5 no, It's hardwired and uses 24 volts via a rectifier bridge and capacitor bank, check for a loose connection.
