0 hello,i replaced a old totaline thermostat (no model number, looked on the web to find out the model number but all I could find was similar ones that were obsolete) with a Honeywell rthl 3550d thermostat, the totaline was wired like this,white-w,blue-o,green-g,red-r,brown-c,yellow-y.wired the Honeywell ,white-aux/e,green-g,blue-o/b,yellow-y,red-r,and brown not used.by the way this is on a weather king heat pump.the setteings for the honeywell are,1-5,2-1,6-9,12-0,14-0,27-90,28-50.after turning the power back on the unit came on and the fan blows weak and the temp blowing out of the vents was 87,after a while the emergency heat came on and the temp went up to 120 out of the vents,it took over a hour for the unit to go off switching on and off of emergency heat, the temp in the house was 69 when I turned the unit back on and I had the new thermostat set at 71.MY OUESTION IS DO I HAVE THE NEW TERMOSTAT WIRED CORRECTLY AND IS THIS HOW THE NEW TERMOSTAT IS SUPPOSED TO OPPERATE.
